Prince O’Bheick International School is a private, co-educational institution located at No. 3 Ditachi Lane by Lesuka Event Centre JC Street, Off Peter Odili Road, Trans Amadi, Port-Harcourt. Our school was established in September, 2018 and it operates a Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Primary and Secondary School programs that follows the British and Nigerian school curriculum. We are fully accredited by the Government of Rivers-state.

We also provide an extraordinary learning environment for students with its state-of-the-art laboratories to aid classroom lectures. We have well - stocked libraries with over 1000 books to facilitate a reading culture among our students. An excellent boarding facility with conducive hostels, cafeteria and chapel that are available to secondary school students who wish to board. Also, there are vast playgrounds for sporting activities. Our staff are highly qualified with university degrees from renowned state and federal institutions. They possess a minimum of five years of teaching experience. Also, they are committed to developing themselves professionally so as to effectively navigate the evolving educational climate.

THE BIRTH OF PRINCE O’BHEICK INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

Towards the end of last century and particularly in the last few decades, the Standard of Education in Nigeria has declined to an unprecedented level. The trend still continues unabated up till date.

According to UNESCO report on Educational Development in Nigeria, less than 12% of the Secondary and Primary Schools across the country meet the expected curriculum and school work standards. The rate of failure among students is worrisomely high in Public Schools, such that students are promoted to the next higher class every year without any improvement in their academic performance and intellectual capabilities to reckon with.

The establishment of Prince O’Bheick International School came as a result of the recognition of the increasingly deteriorating educational standard and the poor delivery of educational services in the country. Seeing the yawning gap between the expectations of the parents and the reality of the educational system, the Director of Prince O’Bheick International School decided to start a project that will not only bridge the gap, but will also deliver qualitative and affordable education to the teeming population in Nigeria.
